Valley Federal Credit Union has established a policy to protect
your privacy when corresponding with us over the Internet.
If you choose to e-mail us, please remember that your e-mail
address and any other information contained in your e-mail
header will be listed, along with your e-mail message. We
will only use that e-mail information in order to respond
to your comments or questions.
Your e-mail address will not be sold or shared with any party
outside the credit union, unless we are required to do so
by law. We respect your privacy, and will handle personal
information that we receive discreetly but we cannot
assure the security of information that traverses outside
Internet connections.
We do not gather information on individual users of our Web
site, unless they voluntarily provide it for account applications
or other correspondence. We do track general activity to our
site by volume, date, and time, plus the servers or sites
from which visitors originated. This is for activity reporting
and analysis only, and does not contain any details about
individual visitors.
Ohio Valley Federal Credit Union reserves the right to change
this policy at any time by posting a new privacy policy.

We, our, and us, when used in this notice, mean Ohio Valley
Federal Credit Union. This is our privacy notice for our members.
When we use the words "you" and "your" we mean the following
types of members:
Our consumer members who have a continuing relationship
by purchasing or holding financial products or services such
as a(n):
- Share account
- Loan account
- Credit card account
- Automobile lease we service
- Self-directed Individual Retirement Account
- Mortgage brokerage services
We will tell you the sources of the information we collect
about you. We will tell you what measures we take to secure
that information. We first define some terms.
Nonpublic personal information means information about you
that we collect in connection with providing a financial product
or service to you. Nonpublic personal information does not
include information that is available from public sources,
such as telephone directories or government records. Hereafter,
we will use the term "information" to mean nonpublic personal
information as defined in this section.
An affiliate is a company we own or control. A nonaffiliated
third party is a person we do not employ or a company that
is not an affiliate of ours. This is also known as nonaffiliated
third party, or simply, an "other party."

We do not disclose information about former members, except
